Among the many services offered to clients by our company, one that particularly makes us proud is undoubtedly mechanical milling, a mechanical technique that allows achieving a variety of results by removing material through milling from the workpiece.
The milling machine is the main machinery used for this operation. There are various types of milling machines of different kinds, including vertical milling machines, horizontal milling machines, and CNC milling centers (these machines can also be programmed using numerical control technology). Milling machines are extremely versatile machines and can therefore be used to perform a wide variety of operations, including milling flat surfaces, contouring, shaping, drilling, and more.
Milling tools are also fundamental. Milling tools are generally made using hard materials such as steel or tungsten carbide. Face milling: in this case, the tool rotates on its end and removes material perpendicular to the work surface.
